Yesterday, Miranda began a new tradition–its first annual street fair. The small hamlet was overflowing with antique cars, colorful vendors and crowds happy to wear their summer clothes in the warm weather.

Come along with us as we joined the fun.

A new business will be opening this summer and the owners provided a sneak peek of the inside including this piece of fish art on their bar. The family-friendly business will also be offering food.

painting of salmon

The new owners posed in front of a painting of salmon they had commissioned to be created on wood that was removed during remodeling.

Flowers, vegetables, and crafts

Flowers, vegetables, and crafts lined the street of the Tuesday Farmers market which was included in the street fair.

Vendors and businesses at the Miranda Street Fair sold goods but gave away for free summer smiles to any who cared to take them home.

It was busy from Bernie’s to Redwood Burl with lots of tables and booths. Excellent turnout for a first event, perfect weather. Bodes well.
