Joshua Dale RauOn May 19, 2018, at about 10:40 p.m., the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Communications Center received a report of a suspicious vehicle parked on the 500 block of Scenic Drive in Loleta. Which is the white supremacist tattoo? I just looked through hundreds of tattoos that are listed on the adl page for white supremacists and I didn’t see any that matched. just wondering if he’s actually a nazi or you are just throwing the term out because he’s white with a neck tat or three.

He was stereo typed, happens to every race. People who don’t know anything, make stuff up according to their sorted past.

Agreed. Our deconstructed society is without much ability to culture people in a good way, it seems. Derelict musicians have mostly been the ones tasked with that job, and they have failed.
Maybe it’s time to realize that “laws” to control bad behavior are poor replacements for broadly held beliefs in morality or ethics.
Even if we could punch every person who has ever used their racial/ethnic or national identity as fulcrum for violence, we still don’t have a good solution for how to broadcast a unifying and convincing philosophy to all the worlds diverse and bickering factions. Rock and roll couldnt do it, and it’s doubtful that hip hop will.

White is a dying breed. So you can label it as racist or just a fact. Only if your a POC would it be acceptable to take pride in your race

So this is the same dude that was the passenger in the stolen vehicle event just hours earlier? Takin’ care of business and workin’ overtime. Mr. Tarantino, the story board is ready. Oh, right, you’re still working up the Honeydew-Casino caper and a dozen others for a on-location shoot. I mean filming.

I’m sad to see this. I still think Josh is a decent human being and I hope he gets it together. I have never seen a man work harder than he did when working two full time jobs to make ends meet for his family. Honestly, I worried his health would suffer from that and I believe it did. Who can keep that up? Without absolving his part, I think our trumphole country and punitive laws also played a part in his situation you now see in our news headlines.

Blaming Trump for his addiction. Really? Addiction does not have a political agenda. HE IS AN ADDICT. HE CHOSE TO SHOVE A NEEDLE IN HIS ARMS. HE CHOSE TO SNORT IT UP HIS NOSE. HE HAS CHISEN HIS LIFE STYLE. HE LEFT HIS FAMILY FOR DRUGS. WORTHLESS POS. HE KNOWS ME TOO. HE KNOWS HOW I FEEL TOO. OVER AND OUT

The blind leading the criminals…

Are you a meth head too, Nancy? I ask because in my experience, only meth addicts attempt to defend meth addicts. Not even the MOTHER of a meth head will defend him, in time.

WOW, two whole jobs.

I work 16 hours a day, at hard physical labor, to support my family and my community. I have “kept it up” for 30+ YEARS, and I will continue to do so for as long as is necessary, despite the physical & mental toll it requires. I make it my life’s mission to make HumCo a better place, just like 99% of my peers/community members.

Josh Rau has made it HIS mission to make this place worse. And, apparently, he succeeded.

And you APPLAUD his efforts?!?

DEPLORABLE.

Meth addicts only defend meth addicts because there is something in it for them ( usually in the form of a small baggie) but in reality, junkies won’t piss on each other if they were on fire.

Let me understand you better on this, you say you make it your life’s work to cleanup this place. Well then I think you need to start by cleaning up YOUR act as a concerned & caring holyier than thou citizen first of all. Who are you to think you are any better than anyone else to speak of them the way you do?? [edit] You are Not God to be judging anyone so go do your 2 jobs of nothing but keep your opinions of others to Your self. You are not cool at all. Instead of bad mouthing why not lend a hand to help others instead of your physical labor you claim to do. Because I cannot see or tell any kind of physical labor done in or around this city in years!! Sorry your work is in noticed apparently, try a new job maybe. Smile too then you won’t be so grumpy too. Peace :))

I never excused his behavior. I just remember when he was being a better man and hope he can return to being that better man. Our society makes it hard to do that.

People make mistakes. If you haven’t lived it- then dont speak about it. This is a hard working man that fell into hard times from a bad mistake. He has suffered loss you couldn’t Imagine. While you sit there and judge, I know the truth is most of you couldn’t even stand up in his shoes let alone take a few steps. He has a lot of goodness in his heart and has compassion for his fellow people. He is a family man struggling to get back what he lost. Cast the first stone, but forget not your judgement will come one day also. I am praying for you Josh. I wish you the best and I hope you find your way. God bless you.
