South Leggett to Spy Rock Rd and then even over the top and into Long Valley…..dangerous road due to very bad drivers. I just got sweated hard by speed racer city-types on my old truck’s ass. I was going the speed limit and I know this stretch of road for 25 years now. These people- a bunch of them- are dangerous, pushy and should be pulled over and ticketed. Yes of course- I use turn outs even unofficial turnouts to allow passing. They suck.

Agreed. My mother just got sideswiped south of Bell Springs the other night. A ‘big white truck’ clipped her driver’s side mirror and scraped the length of her car, and kept going.

Glad to hear you pull over but there are those that think their some kind of speed limit nazis that cause more accidents by not moving over or cutting people off. You can be ticketed for going below speed limit and holding back traffic. Studies have shown that slow drivers cause worse accidents. I do this drive weekly and frequently get stuck behind someone towing trailer doing 25-35 miles/hour and not pulling over.

Ballads are my favorite form of country music. From “Big iron”” to “Saginaw, Michigan” to “North to Alaska”. “tennessee stud” pretty much does it. Blues Bros. should have covered it along with Big Iron. Somebody stop me.

We came through a bit after it happened. Four CHP there but nothing else. Roughly 3-4 miles South of the 101/1 intersection. On the 2 lanes each way before the 3 lanes. Huge trailer on it’s side diagonally across the double yellow in the center with the Jeep still attached and upright but with it’s ass in the air. Plenty of space to get around it in the slow lanes. My humble opinion: way too small a tow vehicle with too short a wheelbase. Looked to be a case of the tail wagging the dog. Everyone was standing at the side of the road with the CHP including the small dog.
