Shelter Cove Road to Be Closed Tomorrow (Also Aerial Video of the Dreaded Slide)

Information from Shelter Cove General Manager:
Shelter Cove Road will be closed tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. and should reopen by the end of the day….There will be road closures this week on Shelter Cove Road below the General Store. The contractors will give us advance notice as things progress which we will be passing along. Please be on the look-out for traffic control personnel and signs.
Remember there is a detour with signs. The detour will add around 10 minutes to the drive.

Awesome video! It’s definitely going to take some creative engineering to fix that one.
Plus I imagine it will slide out in decent earthquakes
There is no putting this real estate back.
It is amazing that there is any road left here at all.
Might want to not drive over that! ALSO, might want to start building an “alternate route”…
Might need to construct a suspension bridge, as the terrain doesn’t look stable enough for bridge piers/supports.
