Eureka Police Begin Near Real-Time Online Crime Reporting
Press release from the Eureka Police Department:
The Eureka Police Department is now reporting to Citizen RIMS, an online tool that integrates with EPD’s computer aided dispatch system. Citizen RIMS allows the public to view near real-time mapped incidents and more. Police incidents can be selected by date range and incident type and viewed in pin and heat map formats.
The public can also view a list of vehicles reported stolen to the Eureka Police Department and a 30 day history of arrests. The daily media bulletin provides a 24 hour incident summary. Users can subscribe to receive daily or weekly email alerts.
Citizen RIMS can be found on our website homepage at eurekapd.net or by using this direct link: https://epd.crimegraphics.com/2013/default.aspx
If you have questions about how to use Citizen RIMS, contact Brittany Powell at (707) 441-4388 or [email protected]

“Police incidents can be selected by date range and incident type and viewed in pin and heat map formats.”
Which is not the same as “The daily media bulletin provides a 24 hour incident summary. ”
