I wish places that are trying to find homes for animals would introduce them to different situations and have that information available to prospective pet parents. Good with other dogs? Cats? Kids? Many of us considering adding to our family already have one or two animals and children and cannot adopt additional animals without knowing this information.

Please contact the rescue, rescued my dog from McKinleyville Shelter, they had my girl long enough they had some info on her behavior. They were spot on about this dog, and a Pittie mix a friend got there. More compassion from the workers than I expected! If you have any interest, just call! THEY want all the dogs advertised saved. Plus, this little one in the Photo is ADORABLE!! When I got Bear…they said she wasn’t fond of other dogs…if they ignore her…she’s fine. I share ever pet from RHBB because they were so right about her.

If they are brought in as strays this info isn’t available. Unless they are in a foster situation. If owner surrender, this info would be available.

Mine was a stray…just had been there so long, they had noticed these things about her, she’s 7yrs old, so not many looked at her. The cute younger ones at least get looked at more. Good thing I only have half acre…I’d have WAY more dogs and horses! giggle
