City of Arcata Hosting 11th Annual Bike Rodeo May 20

This is a press release from the City of Arcata:

Arcata, CA, April 13, 2018 – The City of Arcata is pleased to announce that the 11th Annual Kids Bike Rodeo is taking place on Sunday, May 20 from 10 a.m. to high noon.

Parents and kids, ages 4 to 12, can saddle up and join City of Arcata staff for this fun-filled event on the Arcata Plaza for a day of bike safety lessons, helmet fittings and free bike inspections.

The City of Arcata is proud to sponsor this free event where kids have the opportunity to show off their bike skills in a rodeo-style obstacle course, play fun bike games and fuel up at a pedal-powered smoothie station! Plus, kids completing all rodeo activities will receive great prizes.

what was happening in Fortuna at the Kenmar exit yesterday @3:45. Ambulance, multiple police cars, people walking around in the median. Its not on the fortuna PD site, or the LOCO scanner list.

There was a medical event. I’m not sure of the details but a man fell down after clutching his chest, according to a report made to Emergency Dispatch.
