Not our usual wild bird but a reader, Mike Acevedo, said he saw one similar to this landing at the Rohnerville Airport today.

Yes about 3:30 flying over Fortuna N to S looked like it was heading towards the airport to land.
Yes, I live near the airport and heard it coming for a couple of minutes before seeing it. It is an impressive aircraft.

Via aircraft carrier I hope. I wanna see a A-10 warthog up close. Those things are bad ass! Along with the new C-130 gun ships. Very impressive

We used to love the osprey in the Marines! So much faster then choppers! Not too mention more space inside!
