Intersection at Sixth and F Streets Shut Down in Eureka After Cars Collide
A Silver Camry and a charcoal gray Scion collided near the intersection of Sixth and F Streets in Eureka around 3 p.m. today.
Our reporter Mark McKenna is at the scene. He said two people in the Camry were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, and one of the people had to be removed from the vehicle by firefighters.
According to the Eureka Police Department, the Camry appeared to have run a stop sign before being struck by the Scion.

Pizza or candy, pizza or candy, pizza or candy, …..
Pizza…. no wait, candy. Definitely candy.
Chocolate covered toffee! Yum
Do you suppose this will teach them? Sorry, i am sure it was an “accident,” but still… it happens so often in town!
Crashes like this are why at EVERY Eureka intersection, i approach slowly and look both ways to make sure someone unconscious (or consciously diabolical) isn’t coming… even when i have a green light and they presumably have red. Def. at every stop-sign-controlled intersection… gotta make sure one of these accidents isn’t just waiting to happen.
Its raining. Slow down and leave earlier..
Pizza…
Turn on your fucking headlights when it’s raining!
