Sadly, I’m certain the horses were injured, hopefully not enough to cause them to be “Euthanised”, but at freeway speeds even though he attempted to stop, it doesn’t look good for the horses!!!

Very good visibility there. Was the driver speeding/inattentive/on the phone?

There is a curve in the road and around that point 2 lanes are merging into one. Even with good visibility at highway speed it is difficult to stop if 2 large animals suddenly appear in front of you. Ever have a deer jump out into the road in front of you on the highway? Animals move erratically. Also this was around 3am. It is dark then.

Usually people who call people names like “snowflake” have some sort of repressed issues they need to deal with. God forbid we just be nice to each other.

Horses are especially problematic because their weight is carried on long legs so when hit their bodies end up going over the hood of even trucks and end up in the cab. This sounds like there was no way for the driver to avoid this but, if you do see horses on the road, pass them with great caution. You never can count on them not spooking right into your path.
