[UPDATE 9:10 a.m.] Big Rig in Ditch on 101 South of Phillipsville

At approximately 5:50 a.m., a southbound three-axle big rig pulling a 45-foot box trailer went into a ditch on Hwy 101. The accident happened south of Phillipsville and north of the southern entrance to the Avenue of the Giants.

No one was injured but there will be emergency vehicles in the area so please be alert when driving through the area.
