The massive search that took place earlier today in the Covelo area for Khadijah Britton who was allegedly kidnapped in early February by a former boyfriend was unsuccessful, according to a Facebook post by the Mendocino Sheriff’s Department. Negie Fallis, the suspect in the case, has been arrested on attempted murder charges and is in the Mendocino County Jail.

Below is the Facebook post from the Mendocino Sheriff’s Department:

The Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the following agencies for assisting in the search for Khadijah Britton today in the Covelo/Round Valley area: Lake County Sheriff Search and Rescue, Sonoma County Search & Rescue , Marin County Search and Rescue, Friends of Napa Search and Rescue, Bay Area Mountain Rescue Unit (BAMRU), Mendocino County Search and Rescue, California National Guard, Caltrans District 1 , CAL FIRE Mendocino Unit Wilderness Finders Search Dog Teams (“WOOF”) and Cal OES.

Even though we were unsuccessful in finding Ms. Britton we would like to thank the 96 search and rescue volunteers and the 27 agency staff members who responded to assist in this search effort. We are still asking the public to call the Mendocino County Dispatch Center at (707) 463- 4086 or the tip line (707) 234-2100 if they have any information at all about this case.

What are you talking about? I get it. This has nothing to do with any of that. A missing person period. Be thankful the help is there. Hopefully you will never need it for yourself or forbid your family member.

He means that waterboarding the guy who took her is illegal. Damn. And i agree. That d-bag is sitting around warm, being fed and such while this woman is god knows where, he knows where. I hope they find her.

What are YOU talking about? The low life “alleged abductor” knows where her body is, and a coward like that will sing like a bird if he was interrogated with enough pressure…but I guess that wouldn’t be “nice”. For all the shit talk I hear about women being irrational and emotional, I’d just like to point out a statistical fact: men do the bulk of the raping and killing on this planet.

Don’t you want to elaborate on the headline that says over 100 people were searched? Do you mean door to door property search? Home searches? Absolutely no information in the article to support the headline

Yeah, re-read the headline, slowly this time. It says that 100 people where searching for her.
