[UPDATE 1 p.m.] Suspect in Disappearance of Missing woman Arrested Last Night/ She Has Not Yet Been Located
At 6:10 last night, Mendocino County Sheriff deputies arrested the suspect, Negie Tony Fallis, in the disappearance of a Covelo woman. The woman, Khadijah Britton, allegedly was kidnapped on February 9 around midnight.
According to an earlier press release from the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office, Fallis allegedly abducted Britton at gunpoint. At the time, he was wanted for another domestic violence incident also involving Britton.
Last night he was booked on a number of charges including kidnapping, attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, and inflicting corporal injury on a person with whom he was in a relationship.
As of 11 last night, a relative said that Britton had not returned home and her family was still very worried.
The Mendocino County Sheriff’s Department booked Fallis on the following charges:
