New Business Opens in Fortuna

This is a press release from Northcoast Horticulture Supply:

FORTUNA, CA – February 1, 2018 – Northcoast Horticulture Supply, a gardening supply store, announces the Grand Opening of NHS – Fortuna Feed at their newest store location in Fortuna, California on February 17, 2018 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The new location, former site of Fortuna Feed has enabled Northcoast Horticulture Supply to expand into agriculture and homesteading supplies to serve a broader market in the Eel River Valley community. Gardening, feed and pet supply vendors will be present at the event. NHS – Fortuna Feed will provide a free barbeque from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm during the event while supplies last. The Compost Mountain Boys are scheduled to play live Bluegrass music during the event. Visitors may purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win one of three NHS gift baskets valued at $75.00. Proceeds from the raffle will go to benefit Miranda’s Rescue in Fortuna.

Northcoast Horticulture Supply’s expansion into agriculture and homesteading supplies is an opportunity for the Fortuna community to see NHS as much more than a hydroponics supply store with the ability to offer the same service, selection and solutions that they’ve been providing the Humboldt County community for the last seventeen years.

Daniel Brumbaugh, General Manager of Northcoast Horticulture Supply, comments on the expansion, “We’re very pleased to be celebrating the opening of our newly expanded Fortuna location. We invite everyone to attend the grand opening celebration to discover the new agriculture and homesteading products NHS has to offer in addition to the tried and true gardening products we’ve been selling for the past seventeen years.”

Not ‘another’ store. They have been in Fortuna previously, just expanding into a larger space. Also a store in Eureka. Their supplies are for many areas of gardening, pets, farm and more; not just the ‘growers’.

Stopped in last week while getting our usual list of supplies. Same friendly customer service but with many new offerings. I suggest you check them out if you haven’t, they know their stuff.

Been a bulk customer for 13 years at nhs, always great experiences. Glad to now get all my farm and garden needs at the same spot. Kids like to visit too.
