[UPDATE] Chunk of SoHum Loses Internet When 101 Netlink Iced Out

A swath of rural areas around Miranda all lost connection to the internet a little before 9 this morning. Those using 101 Netlink in the Salmon Creek, Myers Flat and the Fruitland Ridge areas near Miranda were impacted. (Our office is located there and we are posting using a hot spot from our phone so expect a slowdown on our coverage.)

“It may be ice related,” said a spokesperson for the company. She said that the current storm could have caused the outage. The ice should melt by noon, she suggested.

UPDATE: 101 Netlink services were restored about 11 a.m.
