Wanted Felon Leads Deputy on Bike, Foot Pursuit

This is a press release from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office. The information has not been proven in a court of law and any individuals described should be presumed innocent until proven guilty:

A wanted felon is in custody following a pursuit in Northern Humboldt.

Around 11 a.m. Jan. 17, 2018 a sheriff’s deputy on patrol in Orleans observed wanted felon Phillip Randall Reed, 28, riding a bicycle near Highway 96 and Dredge Rd. When the deputy attempted to contact Reed for an outstanding felony warrant, Reed fled down Dredge Rd. on his bike. The deputy pursued Reed down the road.

Reaching the end of Dredge Rd., Reed continued to flee on foot towards the Klamath River bar. The deputy pursued Reed on foot for approximately 400 yards before taking him into custody.

The California Highway Patrol and the Yurok Tribal Police Department responded to assist.

Reed was arrested on his felony warrant for evading a peace officer as well as two additional charges of resisting a peace officer and violation of probation.

That bag of Filth is still on the loose that figures. It’ll be a banner day when he gets caught and released on the same day.

Ok, my goal in life from now on is to maintain a level of conditioning such that a pig could never catch me on a 400 yard dash on home field.

Don’t those fools wear boots and like 50+ pounds of insecurity?
