Two Arrested For Suspected Drug Sales

Burks and ClarkThis is a press release from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office. The information has not been proven in a court of law and any individuals described should be presumed innocent until proven guilty:

On Wednesday, Jan. 3 at about 8 a.m. special agents with the Drug Task Force, assisted by detectives from Eureka Police Department’s Problem Oriented Policing unit served a search warrant at a residence on the 2300 block of Maple Lane in Eureka.

A search of the residence revealed approximately 1 ounce of suspected heroin and 3.9 grams of suspected methamphetamine. In addition, agents located a digital scale, packing materials and other items associated with the sales of narcotics.

Located at the residence during the service of the warrant were 59-year-old William Clark and 68-year-old Nancy Burks. Both were placed under arrest for possession of a narcotic for sale, possession of a controlled substance and maintaining a residence for the purposes of distributing controlled substances.

Great work starting to arrest, and hopefully keep, these addicted dealers off the streets. Maybe our local LE is finally doing something to improve the huge crime problem.

It’s no worse than alcohol, after all… And at least they were not selling MARIJUANA!

You accidently wrote indoor instead of outdoor. There are hardly any indoor grows left. The value of cannabis vs the cost of indoor production makes it no longer feasible.

If that was in Eureka,then what is all of the cops inclueding FBI doing in Rio Dell at the appartment across from the post office on main street,today? Plus as I was checking out the river at the Rio Dell bridge I see a bunch of orenge jumpsuits down on the river bar at the end of edwards.they wear skipping rocks.odd & they were pritty good at it to. Lol I keep trying but I suck at it.
