[UPDATE 8:47 p.m.] Truck on Fire Near Patrick’s Point, Flames Spreading Uphill

Vehicle fireAt approximately 7:37 p.m., a truck caught fire on Hwy 101 near Patricks Point Drive Onramp. According to the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page, flames spread up the side of the hill. The occupants reportedly are all out of the vehicle “chasing a dog around and yelling at people.”

Cal Fire is responding to the scene.

UPDATE 8:47 p.m.: One lane is closed. A tow truck is responding to the scene and should be there by 9:30 p.m.
