Supermoon January 2018

At 6:24 p.m., the moon was full. The moon tonight is called a Supermoon as it will approach a little closer and be a little brighter than other full moons of 2018–though most folks will have a hard time telling the difference. This moon will also cause particularly high or king tides.

Here’s our version snapped freehand with no tripod. Hopefully, some of you can share a better version.
Supermoon 2018The black streak is not a wire but rather a jet trail.

Miss tonight’s moon? There will be another supermoon on January 31 and there will be a total eclipse then, too.

There’s also a blue moon in March. And no full moon at all in February.

So with all the Super moons, as of late, does that mean the moon shall soon crash into the Earth? SO SAD!

Now that is a Chinese conspiracy!
