Hwy 20 east of Fort Bragg about three miles is closed in both directions for approximately three to four hours following an accident around 11:15 a.m. A semi partly loaded with scrap metal has overturned at mile marker 3.1. just west of the Wildwood Campground, according to the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page.

An ambulance is responding.

Update 2:21 p.m.: Caltrans tweeted, “Route 20 in Mendocino Co near Fort Bragg has been reopened with one-way traffic control.”

UPDATE 9 p.m.: Road opened.

Possibly. Even probably. But then he could have swerved to avoid hitting a car that was in his lane. The article doesn’t say.
