[UPDATE: Adopted] This ‘Gentle and Affectionate’ Guy is Looking for a Forever Home

A concerned reader emailed us about this dog that’s listed on Petharbor.com. If you know someone who can help get him/her into a forever home, please pass this along to them.

I am a neutered male, white and black Queensland Heeler mix. The shelter thinks I am about 3 years old. I have been at the shelter since Nov 03, 2017.

Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:

This great dog has the cutest markings! His soulful brown eyes set off his asymmetrical black face spot. Moon is an excellent ball dog and would happily play for hours. He’s very gentle and affectionate, and walks wonderfully on a leash. He’s such a fun guy!

He looks like such a happy boy, just wait until he finds his forever home! 😊 I wholly appreciate the volunteer who is taking these pictures, they really bring out each shelter pet’s personality and I think that really helps in community interest. Also so many thanks to Kim for highlighting dogs and the shelter capacity situations when urgent. You do so much for the community as it is, and you have a large readership. The shelter and local rescue community can use as much help as they can get in getting the word out. Your help in that, despite your busy life, is deeply appreciated. Thank you for caring and sharing.
