Holy Cow Batman!! How did they come up with that idea?? A person shot and killed with no weapon anywhere; and ‘it is a potential homicide’.? Great detective work !! C’mon Man……How many hours were spent determining that ‘potential’ conclusion??

They could have just waited to provide a little more info. I know a Chris from three creeks. Nicest guy you’d ever want to meet. Definitely barking up the wrong tree if they think he had anything to do with it. More likely a Manila tweaker. Just my 2 cents.

You need to share his last name and provide a photo so this Chris can be investigated

Doesn’t the medical examiner have the final say how this man died?
You say a bullet but did you examine the wound?

First initial report-shot on the right side and out the back. Now let’s evaluate the scene-no weapon found(strange), but still called a potential suicide.Ha! BS!!Next was there blood on the seat or a hole in the back window? No mention of that. So he gets shot in the head, but no weapon/blood/splatter or whatever-just him dead in the truck running. He was shot elsewhere, transported and put in the truck, and then started the truck up. Did they do finger prints on anything?? Don’t see any reference to that small fact. Sitting in the driver’s seat and to be shot in the right side of the head requires the shooter to enter from the passenger door side and fire? Wouldn’t that make sense? Or back to the first scenario-shot elsewhere and stuffed into the truck. I’ll go with the first choice.
Any cameras in the neighborhood to record traffic? This murder will go unsolved unless guilty people come forward. A very unfortunate event to taint Humboldt County. Do you want to work for fedex?? No.

Who talked with neighbors? Who checked schedule, driving route miles and odometer? Find out where he was, who saw him and when. Shoes–soil samples and tires do they match? So much more could be included in this investigation. If “Chris” lives in an area where the soil matches the dirt on the victim . . .
