This is a press release from Redwood Coast Village:
Event name: Redwood Coast Village 2017 Annual Meeting
Date: Monday December 11
Time: Noon-1:30pm
Location: Hospice of Humboldt, 3327 Timber Fall Court, Eureka
Redwood Coast Village is celebrating its first full year of operation with a fun and informational get together at the lovely new Hospice of Humboldt facility in Eureka. There’ll be an introduction for newcomers, an appreciation of the over 200 members and volunteers who are already part of the organization, an update for stakeholders, discussion of plans for 2018 – and cake!
Redwood Coast Village is a virtual village that brings together members and volunteers to help Humboldt’s over-fifties stay active, independent, and living in their own homes. Rides, help with household tasks and home technology, and social activities are just a phone call away. The organization is active in Eureka, Arcata, McKinleyville, Trinidad, Blue Lake, and Big Lagoon, with plans to expand south to the Eel River Valley in 2018.
Redwood Coast Village is an independent Humboldt County nonprofit. For more information, go to www.redwoodcoastvillage.org, find us on Facebook, or call 707-442-3763 x217.
