Inmate Who Was Injured After Jumping Identified

HCSO Humboldt County Sheriff's OfficeOn November 26 at 1:40 p.m., an inmate at the Humboldt County Correctional Facility only slightly injured himself after jumping off a tier about 10-15 feet above where he landed, according to Lt. Mike Fridley of the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Department.

The inmate jumped from one tier of the jail and came down on a table. He went to the hospital, but he had received only minimal injuries, Fridley explained. “He was transported to St. Joseph Hospital and received treatment…[He] is back in the correctional facility,” Fridley said.

The inmate, Ian Treadwell, age 34, is currently in custody on a parole hold for violating parole, possession of narcotics, and providing a false name to a police officer.

Why is in jail? For holding in his possession his own private property?
If he hurt somebody else, stole from them, assaulted them, killed them, or did any act of real criminal activity against another, then lock him up good.
If not, then release him and lock up the legislators who legislated him a criminal. Enough of this bs.
