High Speed Chase Through Eureka on Harris

High speed lights

A tan SUV fled law enforcement westbound on Harris about 6:45 p.m. Multiple law enforcement vehicles pursued the vehicle.

One witness reports that the incident began near Myrtle Avenue and Dean Street. An officer had originally attempted to pull over the vehicle and used a loudspeaker to say something like, “Driver, get out of the car.” The driver did not yield and fled at speeds of approximately 50 miles per hour on Harris before the officers lost sight of the suspect’s vehicle.

What about those license plate readers? What’s the use of a Police State if we can’t have at least a few benefits?

The cop cars went blaring down Island Mt. Rd. about 30 minutes ago. They went way out into the Island Mt. community. All quiet now. I will make a post when or if I know anything else.

Cuz theres been too many people hurt by high speed chases through neighborhoods, criminals know that the cops will stop a chase if they do it.
They wanna try a getaway of course, how many thieves throw up their hands and say alright you got me.

I cannot believe why anyone would even question the 100 mph chase in g ville or a few more in the eureka, area you brought these folks up here now you must live with them, stay off the sidewalks. be safe.

We need to make a new rule: 1 year served for every car you pass while racing through town. Hows that?

Prime example of the dire need to use the military to police the streets.

Deploying the USMC instead of cops would go far in building a safe community, free of marijuana dopers.

Besides being against the law, the military is stretched thin enough already.
