Air Ambulance for Woman Injured in Traffic Accident Near Petrolia

At approximately 12:36 p.m., a vehicle crashed near McNutt Creek northwest of Petrolia off the Old Mattole Road. The patient, a 24-year-old woman, was brought to the Petrolia Fire Station.

A medevac has been requested for the patient with neck and back injuries.

Hope she will be ok. I know she was in good hands with Petrolia Fire. They Rock. Hope thier benefit dinner goes well tmro. Best wishes to the young lady.

If it’s more than a nose bleed, yes. Otherwise these hospitals around here wouldn’t know what to do… just my experiences

The scary part is she was brought by private party about 5 miles with neck and back injuries. Bad enough for a chopper.

They air lifted my husband to Redding when a brick fireplace fell on him. My understanding was that the trauma unit there is better than here.
