Rain, Rain, Come Again
As the time changes and dark pulls up the covers earlier in the day, soft rain has settled over the Emerald Counties. Have you a photo that captures a little of the joy that wet weather can bring–a wood fire, a good book, the glistening droplets on the edge of a leaf, water tumbling over itself in a rush to the ocean? Please share it with us to make us smile.

Kym your a great poet.
I was surprised to find that most of my rain photos are from the spring. I have very few autumn rain images. Here’s one.
Let me try again.
Oh, my, God Kym, you have a really good eye for Nature, This picture is beautiful. I didn’t know I could get it on the big screen. I hit a button here and the next thing I knew it was blown up. You should have a showing of your photo’s. When I finally get to move up in your vicinity I want to get just a Learning camera (Do they still make Brownie Camera’s, the Dick Tracy ones from when I was young? Hee Hee). I see things that can be right in a persons face but they don’t see it I’m always watching when I’m out in Nature. I love the outdoors. You have a really good eye young lady. Can’t wait to see more of your photos.
Driving down to Crescent City for groceries tonight at quarter to five was Maxfield Parrish land. Mists rising and sideways glowing sunlight and cloud banks and greenest green and even darkest silver pavement. So, so, so pretty… and brand new quiet windshield wipers to make it extra inspiring. So mundane and so majestic.
Beautiful!
Redway. After the rain.

Darn Kym, this old brain can’t remember what I hit yesterday to blow up your picture. It was by accident any way. There’s a lot of great photographers up your way. Beautiful pictures. I really enjoyed all of them. The way the light is caught in your picture is just mind blowing. Beautiful.
What an amazing photo of a hummingbird, just beautiful!
More rain on the way, and it looks like it might last. Loving it.
The Joy of the rainbow
Thanks to everyone for the great pictures.
