Another reason I have my ccw. Nobody is safe. I go there most mornings between 640 and 7. I would have kicked both their asses and made them stay till the cops came.

You need a ccw to kick a couple boys butts ? Such a great and powerful person you are. Kids stealing beer hardly justifies the use of a firearm. And trust me i do believe we should all be armed but people like you, who make comments such as this , really are the reason i carry.

I think you took the comment out of context. I said I have it because nobody is safe. I didnt say I’d use it to put them down.

You definately implied it. “Another reason I have my CCW,” meaning you have a ccw because kids might steal your beer.

The main reason NOT to engage young people in Humboldt is: Many of them are straight-up psychotic! They have no concept of how to act in public, and tend to be on drugs! If they are driving crazy or acting out, just get the fuck away and don’t attract their attention. Carrying a gun in public is also a good way to find yourself in a jail cell with a legal problem you can’t handle. What if you fire off a round or two and kill an innocent child, or someone else? Best to leave your weapons at home before Humboldt turns into Bakersfield! We got enough gun wavers here!

If you can’t handle going out in public, you should stay home!

Thanks guest. Me too. Im a ccw holder but wouldn’t pull a gun on this situation unless my life was in danger or the threat of death was imposed on a nearby citizen. I Just observe and keep my mouth shut and hands to my self when I’m carrying. Stand your ground and don’t raise a stink. PS. Eureka is a great place to carry a CCW flashman! Never head “north” with out it,fucking methheads

I won’t be visiting Rays during 6:40 and 7 …why not 6:30 and 7 or 6:45 and 7..why 6:40? Are you working at the new Grocery Outlet?

Well, since California legalized crime and the police don’t do a damn thing about it, what ELSE are people supposed to do? They know there aren’t any consequences for their actions, so they have nothing to lose. They probably got taken to Eureka, given a warm bowl of soup and released with a stern finger-wagging.

Yep.

We’ve become a Country that rewards the lazy and those that make poor decisions. We punish those that work hard and follow the rules.

All of the criminals are victims.
Personal responsibility no longer exists.

Remember this come election time…

Ok I agree on some things but at the same time there are actual police officers that try their best to keep every one of u safe they put their lives on the line every single day and every single night for u do they have to? Hell no they have families of their own! They walk out their door not knowing what they’re going to be facing cut them slack like seriously it’s hard work being a police officer next time try appreciating them for once I wanna be a police officer myself I have friends and family in law enforcement it’s not easy behind that badge but they go out there anyway to try and keep everyone safe

They can get high, but is there something else that they can do? Besides getting arrested?

As soon as I saw the headline, my first thought was it had to be Mckinleyville. That town is raising our future jail residents. Maybe they needed a drink to go along with the pb&j sandwich for school lunch that Mom made them.

There are 15 to 20 percent of the population in which tasers are not effective even when they are stone cold sober. People often tend to remember the crazy feel no pain folks on angel dust and assume that if a taser isnt effective that the victim must be high, that isnt always the case just fyi

That’s how we were raised, that’s how we raised our children.Yes put them to work. Our justice system needs to put all these troubled kids to work AND STOP CODDLING THEM👍👍

Don’t blame the local courts. There are three recent laws passed—two by your fellow citizens (did you vote against them?).
The LEOs all over California tried to warn people. Deputy District Attorney organizations all over California tried to warn people. They’re still trying to get changes made but the live-and-let-live legislators (all Democrats) think they know more about how to have a safer, saner society.
