I just got my new Anthem Blue Cross premium notice for January, 2018. My policy, which covers me and my daughter, is not subsidized. I pay for it. It’s going from $1035 a month to $1500 in January, and the benefits are going down while out -of-pocket is going up to boot. So I’ll have to pay $18,000 next year if I can’t find something comparable but cheaper. That’s a 48% increase! Might be time to rethink the whole health insurance system. And, yes, I guess I’m lucky enough to have to pay for my own insurance, but isn’t this amount ridiculous?

Ours is going from $1100 to $1700 for the two of us because our plan will no longer be offered plus it sucked but was the only HSA eligible plan available. I’m switching to a Medi–Share company. We cannot afford another $600 a month plus the first $4800 deductible for each of us. Yes I’m tired of paying for everyone too.

YOU BET IT IS, BUT THE ONES THAT WORK MUST PAY FOR THE ALL THE FOLKS THAT DONT, THAT IS NOT FAIR, ITS PURE SOCIALISM. PEOPLE COME TO THIS COUNTRY AS REFUGEES AN WHAT NOT, GET HEALTHCARE FOOD MEDICINE A PLACE TO LIVE, ALL FOR FREE, AND NEVER DROP A DIME IN THE SLUSH FUND. BUT THE WORKING GUY ALWAYS PAYS FOR THESE THINGS, HE HAS NO CHOICE!

HOGRANCH,
Until Obama got his liberal friends in congress to pass his broke UNAFORDABLE HEALTHCARE program, most doctors, hospitals, and insurance companies were humming along fairly well. Not perfect, but at least it was working and not so expensive that it forced people to go without. Since Obama Care has come to pass, doctors have been saddled with so much more regulation they don’t have time to spend with patients. A big percentage have left their practices because they can’t do their job. Insurance companies have increased premiums to outrageous numbers, people are now taxed if they don’t sign up. What a joke. Trump is attempting to fix it, but the libs in congress are fighting him every step of the way.
You are so right on writing that the working person is footing the bill for everybody. It ain’t the way it should be. I say, Trump, GET ER DONE.

State income tax , where one pays the state for the right to work and try to make enough of a living to care for ones self and family. State welfare where the state pays you to stay home while your family and self needs are payed for you by those stupid enough to work.

I love it. Every comment on here is someone who recognizes the bullshit fraud that is Obamacare; there is no free lunch. The fact that everyone sees it gives me hope. Where’s all the [edit] crying about how wonderful socialism works in Europe?
