[UPDATE Thursday—The Road Is Open] Zenia Bluff Road Closed After Semi Gets Stuck…Again

Once again, the Zenia Bluff Road is closed after a driver lost the trailer of his blue semi off the edge near the Dobbins Creek Bridge.The trailer is reportedly hanging off the roadway, according to information on the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page. The trailer is said to be 10 feet down the embankment and still loaded with “approximately under 17000′ pounds. The incident occurred just before 4:30 p.m.

UPDATE 4 a.m.: According to the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page at 12:30 a.m., THe towing company is having trouble getting equipment. “The road will be closed the rest of the night and most of tomorrow….”

UPDATE Thursday: The Zenia Bluff Road opened last night.

Get a mobile crane ,and a great operator could save the whole load that would be cool .

The board of supervisors should pass a very large fine for oversize trucks violating size/length/weight limits without a permit.

The board of supervisors should not for weight issues, it would just hender competent trucking companies from work, revenue generation and tax generation. There is far too many sub-par infrastructures in the Humboldt County jurisdiction
