Saw the helo come in from Redding and head back. What about the one on 36 at Mad River? That one sounds bad. My wife just got home from town with the kids, she said they almost got hit 12 times by psycho drivers…WTF people, you aren’t the only person on this planet! Thank you first responders!

Telegraph Ridge and Briceland volunteers both responded. It was a pickup truck into a tree with the whole front end crushed in on the driver. Because he was trapped, the jaws of life were requested, but the fire crews on scene were able to extricate him using rescue pry bars and a Sawsall. The incoming engine with the jaws was canceled. He was transported from the scene by ambulance to Ettersburg where he was medivaced to Redding with
serious injuries.

If the the county can get a grip on the cannabis industry taking place in the hills, maybe the road traffic will calm down.

I doubt it, these people are in such a hurry to get to the grows that they think they are going to make good time by speeding only to have to slow down on the next corner. I see it everyday by my house in a residential area.
