Evacuation Information (Including Map) for the Redwood Complex in Mendocino

Nearly 10 counties had fires break out in the last 24 hours. Thousands of people have been evacuated. Thousands of acres are burning. Evacuation notices are coming out in a bewildering number. The Mendocino County Sheriff released the following map to help with evacuations in their area.

The areas under mandatory evacuation include Pine Mountain to Berry Creek to Camp Wente down to Eastside Creek. The Mendocino County Sheriff said that 
Howard Hospital is under EVACUATION WARNING–they should be prepared to leave but are not yet asked to leave.

As of 10-09-2017 at 4:00 PM public safety efforts continue in response to the Redwood Complex Fire impacting the areas of Potter Valley, Redwood Valley and Willits in Mendocino County.

In an effort to provide the most comprehensive and accurate information as to the incident, Mendocino County Sheriff Thomas D. Allman will be facilitating a press conference on 10-10-2017 at 8:00 AM in front of the Mendocino County Administrative Building (501 Low Gap Road in Ukiah, California).

Representatives from city, county and state agencies will present and there will be no response to media inquires until the time of the press conference.

The County Emergency Operation Center (EOC) remains open at this time.
