Just had a chopper, an airplane and a drone fly over out here. First two looks like Cal Fire. The drone is anybody’s guess. Thanks Kym!!
Update ??
YES, PLEASE be more careful out there!! We have had two fires break out in the Whitethorn / Shelter Cove area in one day. NOT GOOD! With high winds and dry conditions things could get ugly fast. Thank You to our local firefighters, operators of the spotter planes, and borate bombers that came out to help.
Thank You Kym for posting and updates.
Kym said on her FB page that the fire on Road A in Whitethorn is out. Please, everyone, be careful.
Being close to the road with some natural firebreaks helps.
