How innovative, the same exact boring stuff they always have. I love good music but come on.
Yup. Damian Marley living g off his father’s work, singing about things white people nd priveledged Americans will never understand. The priveledged life of the locals is really shining in these interesting times. I feel bad for all of you getting 1000 per… Guess you know the wrong people..
There’s a lot of change happening at the Mateel right now. They are fulfilling their obligations until the end of the year, but after that, who knows if there will be a Mateel Community Center at all. I hear what you’re saying about “same old shows”, etc., and I don’t disagree. But if we want the Mateel to continue at all, we need to support them through this transition. If you want it to change, get in there, volunteer, buy tickets to the shows, even if you don’t want to go. Support them through the end of this year, and hopefully in the years to come, it can be much more of a “community” center, not just for the few that like Reggae, but for everyone. It is so extremely valuable as a resource for us, and should be for everyone. Be the change you want to see. I know I plan to.
