The City of Arcata is Offering a Free ‘Climate Conversation’ Course
This is a press release from the City of Arcata:
Do you worry that government won’t do enough to protect us from a changing climate? Wondering how your life would look if you downsized your personal Carbon Footprint, or if it’s even possible?
In this series of six meetings, led by Patrick Carr, we consider the practical options for reducing climate-changing pollution from our Humboldt lifestyles. Focusing on our housing, transportation, and the food we eat, we consider what it would mean – the pros, the cons, and all that goes along – if we were to live closer in balance with the climate. Sponsored by the Arcata Recreation Division, join Climate Conversations on Wednesdays beginning October 4 to November 8, from 7 – 8:30 p.m. Pre-registration is required. Enroll online for this free course at www.cityofarcata.org/rec. Learn more about Climate Conversations by contacting Patrick Carr directly at (707) 672-5039.

“Do you worry that government won’t do enough to protect us from a changing climate? ” Every moment of every day. That’s why I hold my breath.
“We’re from the government and we’re here to help.”
Its a great lifestyle and the climate is good here, especially for plants.
What a joke. I guess their not keeping up w the local news. The local government can’t protect the citizens from being over run by drugs, esp meth, homeless hords, and tons of break-ins and small crime. But lets concentrate on millennia of ever changing wheather paterns. Way to prioritize
Meth heads are people man
Ill be there to laugh my ass off on that shroomtea! This is going to be groovy.
Peace to all!
