80′ Long Tree Fell on Sunnygrove Ave in McKinleyville

Traffic Hazard iconA few minutes before 10 p.m., an 80′ long tree about 15-18 inches in diameter fell across Sunnygrove Avenue near Hewitt Road in McKinleyville. The 20 to 30 residents of the homes past the tree are now blocked from entering and exiting.

Cal Fire has been requested to help.

Depends on the type of tree. Redwoods trees have some laws even on the ground.

Bologna, Bob McMullen logging lives on Hewitt Road, probably sliced and diced it before Cal Fire even hung up the phone.
