A few minutes before 10 p.m., an 80′ long tree about 15-18 inches in diameter fell across Sunnygrove Avenue near Hewitt Road in McKinleyville. The 20 to 30 residents of the homes past the tree are now blocked from entering and exiting.

Depends on the type of tree. Redwoods trees have some laws even on the ground.
Probably right. Might need the okay from EPA . 🙂
Bologna, Bob McMullen logging lives on Hewitt Road, probably sliced and diced it before Cal Fire even hung up the phone.
I hope so.
Come to think of that, I don’t need to go down that street today.
