[UPDATE Sunday: He’s Home!] Sad Old Guy Lost His Family

stray brown hound laying downThis older, brown male dog, about 50-60 pounds with no ID was found on a road in Hydesville today. He seems to have been extremely tired, possibly injured or ill, to say nothing of hot and thirsty.

Three families pulled together to get him food, water, and out from under a truck where he hid, and to Miranda’s Rescue in Fortuna, where he’s waiting for his people to find him.

You can tell he is a very loyal old man. Hopefully his owner is ok, I would hate to think he came to the road because his possibly older owner is having a health issue or worse.

I will contact the Rescue tomorrow & volunteer to keep him till his owner comes, or if no one comes, he can live happily ever after with our family.

Thank you. He would be better off in a home than at a shelter I’m sure. Very kind of you.
