Dana Alan Cooley, Jr.: ‘A Very Kind Heart’ and ‘A Big Warming Smile’
This section includes both obituaries and memories. Honoring our loved ones who have died does not end immediately after their passing. We recognize that… so we’re extending our obituary section to include individuals who may have left a long time ago. If you want to remember someone who is gone, either recently or longer ago, please send a photo and a few sentences to firstname.lastname@example.org. Tell us why you would like to honor the person–is it their birthday, the date of their passing or some other date of significance to you? Pet remembrances are also welcome.
Dana Alan Cooley, Jr. was born on October 3, 1991. It is with great sadness we announce that after many years of diabetic complications, Dana, Jr. has passed away on August 25, 2017 with his family by his side.
Dana grew up in McKinleyville, CA where he attended Morris Elementary, McKinleyville Middle School, and McKinleyville High School…
Dana had a very kind heart, he loved to joke around and had a big warming smile. Dana’s hobbies included hanging out with friends, riding motorcycles, attending family gatherings, and most of all spending time with his nieces and nephews. Dana would do anything for his family and close friends, Dana will be greatly missed and is survived in life by his father Dana Cooley, Sr, mother Sherri Cole, brother John Cole, sister Nicole Cooley, niece Kaia, nephews DJ and Kaiden, Grandma Joan, Grandpa Don as well as many aunts, uncles, and several cousins.
We would like to invite family and friends to a remembrance of life planned for Saturday, September 2, 2017, 1 pm at Pierson Park.
