Go away. Nothing like a troll to use an emergency or tragedy to make snide comments.
the fire and smoke appear to be on the eastern side of the Alderpoint road — across from the larabee subdivision entrance (which is on the western side of the Alderpoint Road).
Save the medicine! Please pray for tax dollars to save the sacred herb!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
It is at cemetary rd & alderpoint rd. Cemetary road is in town blocksburg.
This from scanner
It is towards 36 side of blocks. Not close to cemetery rd. Closer to larabee subdivision.
You are right.
hwy 36 is 17 miles northish from blocksburg
Yes, and it is on the north side of Blocksburg. The Eel river is a few miles to the south, so if you want to indicate which side of town the fire is on, Rt 36 and the Eel River are good markers to use.
Any news from in the burg my bro and his fam live on cemetery rd.
It’s not on Cemetery Rd. Not quite to Larabee Subdivision Rd. North of Blocksburg on the Eastern side of AP rd.
We had a big, big orange copter with apparatus hanging (not a bucket, maybe a retractable water sunction device) pass apparently from Alder Pt/Saw fire, possibly toward the Blocksburg fire, but so low that it was barely FAA regs, and well west of Blocksburg. Low and slow over Miranda, about 6 pm.
This one?
One exactly like that sucked water from The Sturgeon Hole at Eel Rock about that time.
Came up to the airport in mck for something . Maybe fuel.
My dog Rufus said another fire from dope growers ashes from his pipe!!!!! Hope David and Michelle are safe
My pupper don’t talk so good as your dog Rufus. But he is smart!
I ask my dog, “What is on the tree?”
Phydeaux: “Bark!”
I then asked, “Isn’t it smooth?”
Phydeaux: “Ruff!”
Good pupper! Good luck, everybody in the SoHum SE corner & thank you, firefighters!

Has it moved any closer to town? My brother in law and sister live there and he and my man ran up there to check on things and no cell service. Just worried about the homes and hope all goes well for everyone.
