[UPDATE 8:22 p.m.] Fire North of Hoopa

UPDATE 3:48 p.m.: This photo by Alanna Lee Nulph was taken about a half hour ago. She said the fire is burning across from “Big Hill Rd.”
UPDATE 4:01 p.m.: Phil Frisbie, spokesperson for Caltrans, confirmed that the fire is burning alongside Hwy 96 and people are detouring through Marshall Lane to avoid the incident.

UPDATE 8:22 p.m.: The fire is within lines and mop up is happening.
