Leggett Power Should Be Restored by 12:30 p.m., Says PG&E

PG&EA tree fell on power lines closing Hwy 101 temporarily (traffic is still backed up though the road has been declared open.) Four hundred forty-four customers initially lost power. By 9 a.m. power was restored to 100 of those customers. Deanna Contreras, a PG&E spokesperson said the power should be back on by noon or possibly by 12:30 p.m. for the rest. No Piercy customers were affected.

“The wires were laying across 101 by Bridges Creek,” Contreras explained. They’ve now been removed but workers are still fixing the downed line.
