[UPDATE 9:46 p.m.] Traffic Accident West of Miranda on Upper Thomas Road
At approximately 5:54 p.m., a vehicle was involved in an accident on Upper Thomas Road off Thomas Road off Salmon Creek Road west of Miranda. One person needs emergency services. Please avoid the area as vehicles from the California Highway Patrol, Cal Fire and an ambulance will be headed up the hill to the Dog Patch Bridge.
UPDATE 6:20 p.m.: Scanner traffic indicates that this was a single person quad accident.
UPDATE 6:25 p.m.: This is a roll over traffic collision according to the scanner. The ambulance is on the hill and being guided in by an officer.
UPDATE 6:30 p.m.:
UPDATE 7 p.m.: An air ambulance was just requested to land at Salmon Creek School to pick up the patient.
UPDATE 7:20 p.m.: The Reach medical helicopter estimates the crew and copter will be at the landing zone just before 8 p.m.

Haven’t you heard? Everything is legal- as long as you don’t get caught!
Private road.
On any road within 3 miles of your farm you can operate farm equipment . On roads under 35 mph side by sides with all the street required materials are legal .

That “friend of victim” is a first responder and a member of the Salmon Creek VFD. He is also the guy who managed to hold the victim in C-spine for 2.5 hours. He is a hero, and his name is Ryland.
