It looks like a grey Audi based upon the front grill visible in the photo.

Correction: I screwed up. Looking at the photo on a bigger screen, I was completely wrong! Please disregard my previous post, (since I cannot delete it). It is the rear end of the vehicle shown in the photo, not the front. My apologies!!!

The vehicle appears to have went off the southbound lane of 101 at an angle and hit the redwood tree then rolled down to rest on the off ramp. There is significant damage so it’s hard to tell what kind of vehicle. It is some kind of SUV

There is some kind of anamoly in that area. An incredible and inordinate number of fatalities way too often. It’s inexplicable.

May the deceased rest in peace,
the injured heal quickly and recover, and their families find the strength to endure this tragedy.

May the responders and medical teams receive empowering energy to sustain their heroism and the unending support and understanding of their communities for their selfless acts.

They might be a little shook up for a while.

Let not the phrase “No good deed goes unpunished” ever apply to them.

May God and Country watch over them, their families and their loved ones, always.
