After reading the sheriff’s account of the car or truck that was hit by the convoy the other day I would not believe a word they say about anything. Next they will say that the guy ran into a bullet.

He was 80 and got body slammed …that’s what happened..real nice hero…he just told the cops to leave these people alone…this is straight from a witness who stopped by my house and said .. “You wouldn’t believe what just happened….

I believe you Charles, the sheriffs press release of what happened doesn’t make sense. And as Judge Judy says “if it doesn’t make sense, it’s not true!”

If he’d just minded his own dam business he wouldn’t have wound up in cuffs. Their’s a big difference between a good body slam and a drop too. We’ll see.

Once, many years ago in arcata officer Drake threatened to put my five year old in protective custody because I spoke to a man they had detained. The detainee was pretty clearly an undocumented immigrant. I told him in Spanish that he had the right to be quiet until he had an attorney. Drake was MAD! Got in my face, threatened my safety as a parent. It comes to mind because he said I had “impeded his investigation.”

All one really has to do is pay a little attention to the news to see how the lying police are exposed for what they are by their own body cams.
They know they are wearing the camera but THEY LIE ANYWAY.
Why would anyone believe them.? EVER?

I’d like to believe the cops’ version. But based on much experience and observation I tend to believe the unsubstantiated rumor that they hit an 80 year old man for little to no reason. And just saying this kind of makes me sick. And that is the world we’ve allowed them (the cops) to create. There are good police and I want them to step forward, please!

This man was my great uncle and I won’t stand by with people claiming he did drugs! He was walking his dog like he’s done every day. This is a hard hit for our family.

Does anyone know exactly what happened? It is impossible to understand without some context. Just because the man was old does not mean he was not creating danger but then again should even yelling, if that is what he was doing, result in being restained by the police? Was he working himself up into uncontrolled behavior or were the police working themselves up? Without knowing who and what was involved, it impossible to know. And I would like to know.

You will never find out. Cops lie and back each other up with more lies. they even lie when there’s no reason to lie. But in this case- expect zero truth from them. A good, honest cop would have found a way around handcuffing an 80 year old man walking his dog.

This is much clearer when you accept and realize a large proportion of police — possibly a large majority — are sadists who derive a deep fulfillment from inflicting pain, suffering, and ultimately death on others. Many of this personality type are attracted to police work as it`s one of the few places where they can engage in this behavior and do so with near impunity.

Any excuse, apology or effort to justify police in this country could just as appropriately be made for Gestapo, NKVD, SAVAK or any other similar organization. I think it quite likely many a Gestapo goon justified his conduct by: “I was just doing my job”; “I don`t make the laws, I just enforce them”; “If he hadn`t done thus and such, this wouldn`t have happened, etc. etc. More than one Gestapo man undoubtedly felt very good when he was able to return a child`s bicycle or caught a thief — or perhaps gave a Jew or Gypsy a break.

Right. The jails and courts are full of totally innocent victims of police abuse. At least that’s what their lawyers say.
