Robbery at Knife Point Near Sequoia Park

This is a press release from the Eureka Police Department. The information has not been proven in a court of law and any individuals described should be presumed innocent until proven guilty:

EPD Eureka Police DepartmentOn July 4, 2017, at about 3:49 p.m., officers responded to the 2100 block of Madrone Avenue for the report of a robbery. The victim said he was walking on a trail through the park when he was robbed at knife point. The suspect fled on foot with the victim’s phone and wallet. The suspect was described as a white male in his 20’s, 5’9”, thin build. The suspect was wearing a flat bill camo baseball hat with a gray star and a green hooded sweatshirt. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

How far is this from where that kid tried to steal the truck at knife point? Probably got let out and needed some cash, fits the description.
