Robbery at Knife Point Near Sequoia Park
This is a press release from the Eureka Police Department. The information has not been proven in a court of law and any individuals described should be presumed innocent until proven guilty:
On July 4, 2017, at about 3:49 p.m., officers responded to the 2100 block of Madrone Avenue for the report of a robbery. The victim said he was walking on a trail through the park when he was robbed at knife point. The suspect fled on foot with the victim’s phone and wallet. The suspect was described as a white male in his 20’s, 5’9”, thin build. The suspect was wearing a flat bill camo baseball hat with a gray star and a green hooded sweatshirt. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
