Boat on Broadway (Giving a Whole New Meaning to Cruising the Main Street)

At approximately 10:50 p.m. yesterday, a truck pulling a boat lost its load in a southbound lane of the 2800 block of Broadway near Henderson.

Perhaps a might off course, Captain?

If it wasn’t a roller, they would have probably made it home.

I wonder if the driver got a ticket for the unsecured load?

I felt bad for him.. damn I would not want that to happen to us. That is the second boat we have seen in the last year. The other one was just coming off the Samoa Bridge and the trailer tongue was not secure and nailed the tailgate of the pickup pretty good. Anyway it could happen to anyone..We dont tow ours much because it’s moored, but I am just thankful my hubby double checks everything to make sure things are secure.

I’m guessing the backed the trailer to the front of the boat and winched it in.
