There are many crashes on Broadway every day now.
What will it take to get drivers more aware of their surroundings?

Making left turns to and from Broadway can be challenging when traffic is heavy.

As a motorcyclist, I don’t try to make drivers aware of their surroundings, though I do my best to make them aware of me since I have the most “skin” in the game versus a driver, and making myself be the one being aware of my surroundings, as well as constantly calculating a way out.

Your comment is so unnecessary, ignorant and just plain out racist. It seems to be the motorcyclist’s fault, rest his soul. Go read a fucking book and educate yourself.

Sorry to hear of yet another collision involving a motorcycle. I will try to be even more aware, and be on the lookout for motorcyclists when driving.

My condolences to the family.

how is it “for some reason” ? the motorcycle obviously hit the drivers side passenger door… unless the van crossed in front of the motorcycle, attempting to get onto 101.

Every day at least an accident in eureka, I actually believe the average is 2 accidents. This is unacceptable. I certainly believe alcohol, drugs and plenty stupidity are a major factor the city has to step in and figure out what makes this place so accident prone.
Put that tax money to use, lets go fockers!
