Races at the Samoa Drag Strip on July 8th and 9th

Come out to the historic Samoa Drag Strip on July 8th and 9th for two days of racing. Bring your whole family, kids under 12 are FREE!

Saturday and Sunday will feature a special Slant 6 class sponsored by Howard Family Racing. Sunday we will be adding a special MOPAR class brought to you by Lithia Chrysler Dodge. Any
and all MOPAR vehicles welcome! Interested in racing? Stop by Lithia for limited number of free racer packets for the MOPAR class.

Spectator gates open at 9 AM. Racing starts at 9:30, weather permitting. Tickets are only $10 for adults, and include pit access. Food and drinks provided by the Loose Leaf.

Established in 1955, the Samoa Drag Strip is one of the oldest NHRA tracks in the country. Come see generations of families racing together. Classes include Sportsman, Pro, SuperPro,
Motorcycles, and Junior Dragsters. Some of these local racers run almost 200 mph! Racers age from 5 to 95 years old!

Want to try racing for yourself, and you’ve never done it before? Come on out to a safe, controlled environment. There are plenty of racers willing to help you get started. Keep racing
on the track and not the street! Street Legals are Saturday night July 8th, and are always free to watch and free to race.

Those old Plymouth Valiants were the ugliest cars they ever made. I wonder if that beauty still has the push-button gearshift in the dashboard. Absolutely cool.

I drove a slant 6 for years. Not a bad car.Tha Valiant!!!Danny and Kathy do a great job at the drags,it’s alot of fun!!!🏆here’s to a great season

I restore mopar muscle cars I have a 1969 roadrunner A12 custom .it will be down town auto expo right next to my one of 3 known to excist 74 challenger it won auto expo 2012 first place ,so i have mopar blood running threw my veins. both my cars are show cars.i have a 70 dart swinger ,and another roadrunner1969 383 4 barrel 4 speed ,so .im putting in a new hopped up 360 it’s gett ing new cam and lifters ,and will drop right in .kym go to auto expo and come see me I’ll give you and your kids a Cruz in them .oops I forgot I got 73 Plymouth duster 360 it runs high 12 second quarter mile .I’ll be racing it at the drags .my dogs name is mopar lol
